Spice rub for pork ribs

Ingredients:
paprika
salt
pepper
garlic powder
onion powder
cumin
ground cloves
chili powder
generic BBQ sauce (Krafts, Bulleye, etc.)

Directions:
Ratio:
paprika > garlic powder > onion powder = pepper > salt > cumin = cloves = chili powder
Combine spices in a container and mix well.
Rub spices onto meat so that it sticks on.
Cook ribs in oven for one hour and 20 minutes at 300 Fahrenheit.
Remove from oven to apply BBQ sauce with brush.
Place back into oven and cook for another 10 – 15 minutes.

Appetizer: Spicy Squash

Ingredients:
yellow squash
salt
pepper
garlic powder
parsley flakes
chili flakes
cooking oil
1 – 2 wedges of lemon

Directions:
1. Cut squash into approximately 1 inch pieces
2. In a resealable container combine squash, salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley flakes, chili flakes and oil
3. Seal container and mix well
4. Transfer squash onto a cooking tray and place into oven for 30 – 35 minutes at 300 – 350 Fahrenheit. If your pieces are smaller use the lower range and for bigger pieces use the upper range.
5. Remove from oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over top and stir to mix.

Baby Spinach Salad 1

Ingredients:
baby spinach
grape tomatoes
dates
cheese
lemon juice
first cold pressed olive oil

Directions:
1. Add baby spinach leaves into bowl. Add tomatoes.
2. Split date(s) into smaller pieces and add into bowl.
3. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over salad (about 1 – 2 wedges)
4. Add cheese on top.
5. Add olive oil.
6. Mix

Parmesan Mashed Potatoes

Serves 2

Ingredients:
3 russet potatoes
milk
Parmesan cheese
garlic powder
ground pepper

Directions:
1. Add water to pot to boil potatoes
2. Peel potatoes and cut into 1/8 wedges
3. Add potatoes into boiling water
4. Combine cooked drained potatoes, garlic powder and ground pepper into a container and proceed to mash
5. When potatoes are mashed gradually add in heated milk while stirring to reach desired consistency.
